Ganni Girls Enter Paris

Copenhagen powerhouse Ganni debuted in Paris for the first time during this Paris Fashion Week season, showcasing its Spring 25 Ready-to-Wear collection. Stepping into new ground, known for its luxury brands, Ganni has made this a strategic move into the big pond whilst ensuring they continue to bring that enchanting Copenhagen energy to Paris.

In the true Ganni collaborative way, for this collection, Ditte Reffstrup brought in Nicklas Skovgaard, a Danish designer known for his silhouettes alongside Tulle creative Claire Sullivan, a New York designer. Using fabrics from Ganni’s Fabrics of the Future initiative this collection showcases Biotex; OleatextTM, Cycora and recycled aluminium.

This season, we saw a resurgence of Ganni’s staple design features, ruffled edging, leopard print denim and buckle detailing. However, we also got to see the wonderful work of Claire Sullivan in the sheer tulle pieces. Dresses were beautifully draped atop bodysuits and skirts layered over trousers, sheer blouses under tailoring and a ruffled tulle neckerchief styled on the majority of looks.

Buckle detailing is reminiscent of the ever-so-popular Ganni buckle ballerina flats; we see this detail on belts paired over top of a classic trench and featuring an updated footwear design. The billowing skirt silhouettes from the mind of Skovgaard are featured in a variation of pieces from leopard print, ditsy floral, tulle and faux leather. The looks were styled with a new accessory in the shape of a large tote with corset detailing and a few new colour variants of the Bou Bag.

Lastly, the colour palette was a sea of green tones from soft olives to pops of lime. Combined with shades of dark chocolate it's a combination worth noting. Eyecatching blues, dark denim and navy transitioned into black ensembles. A soft pink look paired with a pop of red footwear leads us to the final look, closing the show with a scarlet red dress featuring ruffle detailing and a voluminous tulle skirt.

Our favourite looks from the collection.
