Massimo Dutti Pre-Fall Edit

Pre-fall styling season is upon us, and as the warm weather begins its descent we can start to indulge in textures, light layering and knitwear.

If you are on the lookout for pre-fall staples, no one does elevated basics quite like Massimo Dutti. Sitting comfortably in the mid-market, Massimo Dutti offers carefully curated and well-designed high-quality pieces at an accessible price point. With chic and polished collections, its style lands somewhere between Arket and the Row; and so it’s no surprise that it sits high on my go-to brand list.

The new pre-fall collection caught my attention, unsurprisingly, suede features heavily, a material we will be seeing a lot this autumn and winter, however, the small detailing makes these pieces that little more elevated than their counterparts offerings. Also in the form of shift dresses and knitwear, other microtrends such as leopard print and last autumn’s cherry red craze make a welcomed appearance.

For those of us who enjoy the occasional ‘dupe’, Massimo Dutti have a few pieces worth noting. The Bottega-inspired woven leather bags have come in many variations over time but Massimo Dutti’s iteration is beautiful. The chic design and colour make this a steal, crafted from 100% leather and priced under £130.00.

I also spotted a pair of small oval tort sunglasses reminiscent of the new season MiuMiu and a bead necklace evidently inspired by the Lie Studios carnelian necklace.

So if you are ready to ditch the linen then jump right in, from outerwear to shoes check below our full pre-fall edit.
