The Spring Home Edit
As we all get ready for the big spring clean, now is the best time to add in some new homeware to make your space feel revitalised. Fresh scents, pops of colour and joyful trinkets make all the difference. I have crawled a few of my favourite homeware stores to find the best pieces to add to your home this spring so you don’t have to! Enjoy the edit!
bright
If you gravitate towards bright colour now is the perfect season to embrace it. Lilac, soft pinks and mint are soft enough to allow those brighter tones and pops of orange to speak without being overwhelming. This Arctic Monkeys print is one of my favourite finds and is sure to add a bit of personality to a bare wall.
minimal
If you are a minimalist like myself and still want to add some interest to a space, using a singular pop of colour is the way to go. This electric blue shade is a popular choice amongst interior enthusiasts and you can see why. It’s modern, bold and fresh! Keep the rest of your accessories and trinkets easy on the eye to balance It out.
soft
When I think of spring I think of soft pastels. Undoubtedly the best colours to embrace the season with. Again, balance out those soft tones with neutrals to keep the space feeling mature and not too overwhelming. These salt and pepper shakers are the cutest find and will inject that much-needed spring vibe into your dining space.
earthy
For those who steer away from anything too bright and prefer softer, earthy tones, there is still a way to bring in that spring feeling. Using natural textures like stone, wood and linen is the perfect combination to create a calm and zen space. Using tones like olive green and warm terracotta reference those natural colours found in nature. Think of those soon-to-be warm, fresh days with a coffee in hand.
