The Outnet Edit
The Outnet, sister company to Net-a-Porter offers the best discounted designer pieces, often with a markdown as high as 70% off. Alongside their great selection of past-season collections, they are also one for offering unique designer collaborations and limited edition pieces.
If you missed my previous article ‘Curating a designer wardrobe on a budget’; purchasing past-season items at a discount is a great way to acquire those special items you may have had your eye on whilst sticking to a tight budget- patience pays off.
Some of my most loved pieces have been an Outnet bargain, such as my Canary yellow By Far Billy bag that I wear all year round. A beautiful blue and gold Stine Goya taffeta dress that is perfect for special occasions, and more recently a pink Ganni denim mini that I am planning to break out this weekend before the sun dissipates. I also have my first Autumn / Winter purchase on its way to me in the form of JW Anderson loafers. *squeals with excitement*.
This Staud cut-out detail midi dress is one of my favourite finds from this edit, perfect for seeing off the summer in style. Pair with strappy heels and gold statement earrings for an evening look or dress down with Havianna Flip Flops and a tote bag. The JW Anderson Fish bag is a love or hate piece but as an absolute fan girl of anything Mr Anderson creates this unique bag had to be mentioned. Perfect for holidays and if you generally want to own anything that puts a smile on your face.
Moving on to the Ganni strappy heels, these are a classic and versatile piece, style with jeans, dresses or skirts, and currently 50% off - they also come in a flat sandal option if heels aren’t for you. Moving on to this Ganni strapless cotton top, the bead embellishment and button detailing make this piece unique. I would pair this with blue jeans and ballet pumps for an effortless look.
Lastly, this Louisa Ballou ring-embellished ribbed jersey top is the type of piece you would grab season after season. Style in the spring and late summer with a linen bias-cut skirt and strappy heels or sandals and in the colder months, wear with straight-cut jeans, pointed court heels and a blazer styled on your shoulders.

I love to wear these lighter tones during the transitional season. Light layers in a lighter colour palette are a winning combination. I’m starting strong with this Rejina Pyo denim, off-white co-ord. Both pieces are beautifully styled as intended but get double points for being versatile stand-alone pieces that will work hard in your wardrobe. Combine with simple accessories, t-shirts, converse and loafers for the perfect day-to-day stylish outfit.
Moving onto the accessories, the option of an off-white bag is a piece most of us don’t consider. If you are looking for a bag that can be styled with most of your wardrobe, going with a lighter shade is a great alternative to the black bag, it will instantly elevate any look and add interest to your outfit. The Neous option is simple and elegant yet almost sculptural. The Rejina Pyo option has beautiful brown leather detailing on the handle and a gloss finish, perfect for wiping away any marks. The last bag option is my favourite, by the Brand Elleme, this pebbled leather bag is sophisticated and would be the perfect daily bag for any season.
Lastly, a classic loafer with a 2024 update. Cream loafers have been all over my styling boards and will for sure be added to my wardrobe this season. Pair with blue jeans and knitwear for the ultimate go-to outfit.

If you enjoy colour during the summer months but struggle with styling brighter tones during the transitional season, these picks are for you. Starting with this beautiful Rejina Pyo green textured dress, the long sleeves are perfect for the chillier weather yet still ooze that end-of-summer vibe. Pair with Adidas sambas and a 90s-inspired baguette bag for a relaxed weekend outfit or dress up with kitten heels and statement earrings.
Butter yellow is a tone that has been everywhere this summer and I’m not ready to let that go so soon. This cotton shirt by LouLou Studio is the perfect shade and layering piece. A versatile addition that will work with your weekend wardrobe and yet can easily be worked into a workwear capsule. Style with Jeans and trainers or go for a fully tailored look with pants and Mary Janes.
Speaking of knitwear, using colour in your layering pieces is an easy way to inject that colour into your styling. The knitted vests from Ganni and Rejina Pyo are a great transitional piece to layer over a simple tee or layered over a summer dress before it goes away for the winter. Moving onto this pink checkered cardigan from Stine Goya, this is a perfect example of a classic with a twist; bright, cheerful and a statement piece that does the work for you.
Last but not least is this adorable sky-blue, mini bag from Wandler. A beautiful brand that creates the most well-crafted accessories. A great example of The Outnet designer collaborations, this piece is an Outnet exclusive. With gold hardware and magnetic closure, it’s the perfect grab bag to add colour to your wardrobe.
