The unfortunate truth is we all contribute to the big climate issue.
The Fashion industry relies on consumption and we are hungry. Although our business model does not link directly to fashion production, we are not off the hook.
As a platform that celebrates this industry, we consistently inspire and ultimately influence the purchase of new items…
so, lets make some changes

so, lets make some changes _
Although we are small, each action can create positive change. That’s why We are pledging to do our part.
Promoting new brands, beauty and fashion is a huge part of our content plan. That's why we are promising that 75% of our fashion content will be green, responsible and doing their bit. This means we can spread awareness of sustainable brands that may not yet be on your radar and celebrate those companies creating change.
We are fully aware that not all sustainable fashion and beauty brands are accessible and that’s where the 25% of fast fashion content and lower-budget beauty will sneak in.
where else we can make change;
ayw will always advocate and encourage a circular economy; therefore we are implementing what we call our ‘circular content’.

We will create regular second-hand shopping edits and encourage shoppers to do their part. We will share tips on the importance of garment care alongside a repair and re-wear campaign. Not only that, but we will also continue to push for change in consumer responsibility - Just because you got those boots for a tenner from Depop doesn’t mean you're sustainable Janet!

Luckily for us, forward-thinking entrepreneurs have introduced us to the world of rented fashion. Here at AYW, we will ensure that rented options are a regular part of our shopping and styling edits. Encouraging the use of rental platforms slows down the demand for production and saves you a few pennies in the meantime.

By continuing to share regular styling inspiration we hope to ignite some love into your wardrobe. Borrow or reimagine; we will always encourage shopping your wardrobe before the high street, thus circling back around (pun intended) to our circular content.
