Not uncommon for this season, a dark smoked eye remains a fixture. Spotted at Dior, Erdem, Tom Ford and Chanel, we can confidently keep this Beauty look on rotation. This year, however, we can afford to be a little messy. It’s perfect for those who don't have a steady hand (myself included). I can't deny the feelings of nostalgia. This look undoubtedly has remanents from a Tumblr beauty era. A lived-in liner that hints at being worn the night before. Seen at Rodarte, Roksanda and Schiaparelli, dark bold lips make a return. Taking on a similar concept to our dark eyes and fresh skin - we shift the focus from the eyes to the lips. Keeping our eyes bright and fresh we can go that bit bolder with our colour choices; go as dark as you dare.
This year red is the colour of the season and similarly, we also see this trend falling favourably into the beauty sphere. Burgandy, Mahogany and Maroon are bold yet undemanding. This would be ideal for a quick day-to-night look.

latte makeup
We have seen latte makeup everywhere this year. Made popular by Hailey Bieber this look consists of using products of the same tonal family. A firm favourite during the summer, we see this look shift away from those warm, bronzy, gold tones and into a cooler colour palette. This tonal look remains beautiful with dewy fresh skin and glossed lips.
If you are looking to add some shimmer, Chanel, Chloe and Louis Vuitton swapped out those gold, and copper tones for a frosty, silver shimmer on the eye.
