Handcrafted Glass Jewellery.

A Northwest-based glass artist Roslyn Ashcroft is the creative talent behind this one-of-a-kind brand. Roslyn began her glasswork journey, transforming abstract paintings into wearable sculptures during her craft and design degree, each piece meticulously handcrafted by flame. These playful and modern designs are all made using Murano Glass with offcuts recycled into a collection of multicoloured fidget rings.

Community and collaboration have been an integral part of the Roslyn Studio journey; participating in markets and pop-up events up and down the country, Roslyn has connected with customers and, most importantly, caught the attention of prestigious names, landing collaborations with Tate Liverpool, The Design Museum and impressively a limited collection at Selfridges.

I had the pleasure of meeting Roslyn and seeing the collection up close at a pop-up event hosted by ‘All Over The Shop’. With a clever and intentional use of colour alongside the fluid design, each piece has a playful element, however, the use of Murano glass gives the collection a minimalist aesthetic, which is a difficult balance to find in the current market.

The signature glass doughnut and squiggle pendant design is featured across the collection, from necklaces, bracelets, and earrings to a series of bag charms in collaboration with fellow Northwest-based brand Ariadne. The charms are available in multiple colourways with the option of choosing a complimenting faux suede rope tie or paper chain, offered in sterling silver and 24k gold plated options.

Amongst all the beautiful offerings of Roslyn Studio, it’s the doughnut drop earrings that call to me. They are a modern and sculptural take on a classic hoop design that will instantly elevate any look. I guarantee you will reach for these every day.

Moving on to rings, they are like little pieces of forbidden candy. Offered in a range of beautiful colourways, they come in various designs. Some have a ‘bubble’ design where your typical gemstone would reside, whilst the other is a smooth, modern band of glass. Stack them or wear them alone as a single piece.

Roslyn also offers a unique option for creating personalised designs. Whether that is to create a matching set or something particular for yourself or a loved one, It’s a great service for those who want sentimental and special pieces in their collection.
