The H&M Summer Edit

Your guide to shopping H&M this season.

When shopping high street fashion, H&M is usually my first stop. It sits highly on my list of items owned by one particular store. And out of my accumulative high-street purchases, my H&M items tend to stick around in my wardrobe longer than others. I have dresses and shirts I reach for season after season and one particular white cotton blouse I purchased 7 years ago!

And as I become (admittedly) a little pickier in purchases, it takes a lot for the new season drops to peak my interest. But during a calm evening scroll - I found myself on the H&M website rummaging through all the new season items. Fresh, on-trend and yet classic. You will reach for these pieces year after year with limitless styling options.

All products are linked at the end.

First up is H&M’s take on the ruching trend, a breezy cotton two-piece set in a colour of the season; It gives Peachy Den vibes on a budget. Pair with The Row Dupe mesh ballet pumps for £22.99. Finish with silver dome earrings and a summer tote you can take to the shops or the beach.

A rosé wine in the sun outfit. I love this summer update on the silk bias-cut slip skirt, this off-white linen blend option will go with anything. Syle for the day with Havianna flip-flops and a loose-fit graphic tee. This tie peplum blouse is great for £14.99 and a great Ganni Dupe. Pair with a classic strappy heel and gold earrings. Finish the look with this woven tote that helps with that summer aesthetic.

Loafers and Bermuda shorts are everywhere this summer, and whilst this trend may not be for everyone, you can’t deny a good pairing when you see one. I have paired the denim with this oversized stripe cotton shirt to keep the look casual. Finish the look off with silver dome earrings and this new padded tote.

Lastly, this pair of wide-turned-up jeans would see you through to Autumn / Winter. Keeping it light and airy on top to balance out the heavy denim, this little ruched cami is effortless but high-impact. Another great take on this season's mesh ballet trend is this pair of cream Mary Jane’s. Finish the look with the black mesh Tote to ground the outfit and this pair of beautiful blue gemstone earrings.
